United Kingdom – Cargo Inspectors – Ad-Hoc
The BIE UK office is looking for the following skilled ad-hoc Inspectors located on the south coast, south Wales and the northwest although Inspectors from other areas are welcome to submit their CV’s
Mechanical, Welding and Electrical Inspectors and in particular Electrical Inspectors with a current Compex certificate.

- Full UK driving license
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Have excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including being prepared to work outdoors, at heights and in confined spaces.
- Prepared to work unsocial and unscheduled hours including weekends and Bank Holidays in line with shipping movements which are 24/7-365 days a year
- Computer literate
The Role:
The role of an Inspector with BIE is to perform volume/temperature measurements, sampling, calculations, and reporting to ensure that the customer receives an independent, accurate, and complete assessment of the quantity and quality of materials during transportation. Materials can include Crude Oil, Petroleum Products, Petrochemicals and Petroleum Gases.
